Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
The world thinks power, position, possessions, money, and education make you successful or powerful. There’s certainly nothing wrong with any of these as long as Jesus Christ is on the throne of one’s heart. Apart from Jesus, you only have as much power as you can struggle, wrangle, purchase, and wrest in your own strength. With this approach comes fear, anxiety, toil, highs and lows, paranoia, labor, etc. to acquire and then to hold onto what you’ve acquired. This usually produces side effects such as poor mental and/or physical health, strained or broken marriages and/or relationships with children, ebbs and flows with finances or assets, and really puts one, many times, in a position of compromise. Thankfully, if you are a Believer who understands who you are in Christ, what you have received from Christ, and how to operate in the Kingdom of God in Christ, you never have to suffer what the world suffers to have the very same things the world seeks.
Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Jesus Himself spoke these Words. In the preceding verses, Jesus was speaking to the fact the world has to chase and labor after the things it desires and then labor to hold onto these things while we, as Believers, can have our cake, The Word of God, and eat it, too. We don’t have to go through the physical and mental toil to enjoy all things in this life. God has given them all to us freely to enjoy. It is part of our salvation. You see, salvation is MUCH MORE than being redeemed from spiritual death and forgiveness of all sin. It is completeness, wholeness, health, prosperity, deliverance, and protection.
I Corinthians 2:12
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
Now religion tries to explain this away by saying Jesus in Matthew 6:33 and Paul in I Corinthians 2:12 was speaking about “spiritual things.” It’s simply laughable theologians and preachers/teachers would come up with this explanation. The Greek is very straightforward as is the Hebrew version of the New Testament. You know why they come up with this explanation. Satan doesn’t want you to have what Jesus purchased for you in The Passion. If you don’t know who you are in Christ, what you received from Christ, and how to operate in the Kingdom of God in Christ, you are a Believer in bondage to Satan’s domain, this world. Satan is the god of this world until Jesus returns in the Second Coming. Satan knows when a Believer comes to a complete revelation of what Jesus did for them, he has an enemy he cannot defeat and who will kick in his teeth in daily. Thank God for His Word!!
There is no more powerful force in all of the earth than The Word of God. In fact, The Word of God is the most powerful force in all of creation. There simply is nothing more powerful. Your tongue is the purveyor of your future. Not God, not Satan. You. You will have what you say in faith or in fear. If you’re not in faith in God’s Word, then you are in faith in fear. Yes, fear is a form of faith. You believe in the world more than you believe in God’s Word.
False Evidence Appearing Real = FEAR.
In the Fall of 2018, Satan tried to take me out with FEAR on a Saturday morning. I’ve shared before, in previous emails, how I was finishing a workout and began to feel pain in my left chest, left arm, and then blurred vision and a headache in the left side of my head. I knew something was not right. I said, “Lord, something’s up. I don’t feel right.” The Lord responded, “yes, Satan is trying to take you out. He is trying to get you to believe in a heart attack. Don’t believe it, don’t talk about it, go to your room, shut the door, get on your knees, and pray in tongues until the pain goes away.” As I pulled into my driveway, the Lord said, “don’t say one word to your wife. Just tell her you’re going to pray and to leave you alone.” The Lord didn’t want me saying anything to my wife because she would have panicked, called 911, and I would have owned my heart attack. I did as the Lord instructed and prayed in tongues for 45 minutes until the pain went away. I then showered, and the wife and I headed to the grandsons’ baseball games. During the first game, I sat apart from everyone and continued praying in tongues. During this time the Lord said to me, “you’re fine. I’ve given you a new heart. Had you believed Satan and spoken any words agreeing with the heart attack he was trying to inflict you with, you would have owned the heart attack. I would have then had to aid the doctors in saving you.” I now laugh at Satan and poke fun at him. You gave me your best shot, and I knocked you out with The Word of God. Satan can’t stand it. It really is a joy to rub it in constantly. Satan tried, like a mirage, to get me to believe in something that was not Truth. It was a physical fact, but it wasn’t Truth. My words in faith dictated my outcome.
You, too, can do the same thing anytime Satan attacks you on any front of your life. You can choose to believe physical fact or the Spiritual Truth. You will have what you believe and say – good or bad.
Deuteronomy 30:19
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
God, through Moses, spoke the above verse to the Children of Israel. Today, He is speaking it to you. God has set His Word before you. His Word instructs us what we are to speak for life and blessing. God warns us in Deuteronomy 28:15-68 about the curses and death. He provides us the life and blessings in Deuteronomy 28:1-14. Now, you choose what you speak but be ready to live with the outcome if you speak anything other than God’s Word in faith.
Much love in Christ,
Larry
