Good Morning Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
As we draw closer to the time we celebrate the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and King Jesus Christ, we’ll examine more of this blessed event which forever changed the course of all mankind. There has never been, nor will be, a greater event in all the history of eternity. Think about this for a minute. What is the single greatest event of all ETERNITY? Not time. Time is finite. Eternity is infinite, boundless. Infinite and boundless describes our Father God, Abba. Time was created for the natural man. Notice I said “natural” man. If you’re a Believer, you’re not bounded by time in this earth. You live outside time. The natural, or unsaved man, is bound by time in this earth. But this is not the purpose of this email. We’ll discuss this some other time.
The Hebrew language is a very rich language meaning Hebrew words have multi-dimension to them. They are not 1D or 2D or even 3D like most languages, including English. They’re 5D. The word for “male” in the Hebrew language is “zachar.” Zachar also means, “the remembrance, the recounting, the mention, and the record.” The first sacrifice the children of Israel offered, corporately, was the Passover lamb. We should all remember the account of God instructing Moses to have the children sacrifice a Passover lamb and place the blood above and on the sides of their door. The death angel would then pass by their homes while killing all the firstborn of Egypt, both human and animal. The lamb had to be one year old, a male, and spotless or without blemish of any kind.
Ok, so what’s the revelation of the word zachar? Remember, EVERYTHING in the Scriptures is there for a DIVINE reason. Study God’s Word as commanded in II Timothy 2:15. Don’t just read over it. God unlocks wisdom for those that diligently seek after it (Hebrews 11:6). Zachar means “male” and “the remembrance, the recounting, the mention, and the record.” Drumroll. When the Passover Lamb, Jesus Christ, was killed, the zachar was killed. To kill the zachar was to end the remembrance, destroy the record, to wipe out the memory, and to eliminate the mention. Of what? Our sin!!!! When Jesus died, it was the death of our zachar.
The prophecy spoken by Jeremiah of the coming of Jesus Christ, and the New Covenant Jesus would usher in by His death, burial, and resurrection, is found in the following verses:
Jeremiah 31:31-34
31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which My covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be My people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Notice in verse 34 God, our Father, Abba, said He will forgive and will REMEMBER NO MORE our sin. This is zachar! Now, God has forgiven your sin, WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO REMEMBER YOUR SIN NO MORE? Why do you keep dragging the memory of past sins, the condemnation, around with you? Jesus became the zachar of your sin on the cross, then died, and with His death, God’s remembrance of your sin died. Notice what happened when the zachar, the Passover lamb, died in Egypt. The Hebrews were released from their bondage and set free, with all the gold, silver, jewels, and fine raiment of the land of Egypt, to fulfill their calling.
As we meditate upon the life, death, and resurrection of our King Jesus during this season, let us also honor The Father, Abba, and Jesus, by killing the zachar of our sin. If you will do this, you’ll be released from the bondage Satan keeps you in with condemnation, the old, and you will enter the fulness of your calling, the new.
Romans 8:1-2
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
The Holy Spirit, so eloquently, through Paul, is telling us exactly what Jeremiah prophesized in Jeremiah 31:34. There is NO ZACHAR to them which are in Christ Jesus. Why? For the law of the Spirit of life in the Zachar hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
In closing, the last key part of Romans 8:1 is the word, “now.” When is “now?” That’s right. “Now” is always moving with time. I hope you can see this Spiritually. There is never a “Before” with a Believer and God. There is only “NOW!” “Death” is the past and “Life” is the present. Everybody then asks me, “what about the future?” Wow, you haven’t grasped it yet have you? Is there a past or a future in eternity? NO, THERE IS ONLY NOW!! You became eternal the moment you accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior. There is only NOW for you! Praise God our AWESOME FATHER!!
Meditate on this and be SET FREE to fulfill God’s calling upon your life. In closing, and I’ll speak more to this next week, the killing of zachar also means the killing of the effects of the curse – sickness, disease, financial struggles, marriage struggles, calamity, fear, doubt, unbelief, depression, terror, etc. You should remember these no more, too, and only focus on the NOW of God’s Word found in I John 4:17.
I John 4:17
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He [Christ] is, so are we in this world.
“Because as He IS, so are we in this world.” Do you see it? When is “IS?” Yes, it’s “NOW.” How IS Jesus Christ right NOW? I hope you get the picture. It will cause you to shout and praise our wonderful, loving Father and our King.
In Christ,
Larry
