Why Are You Asking God?

Good Afternoon Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

I’m sure the title of this email has you wondering about the content.  I assure you the title is correct.  Why are you asking God?  “For what,” you ask?  For your healing, for your finances, for your marriage, for your children, for your grandchildren, for your business, or for your job, among many other things.  God has told you to heal yourself, to fix your finances, to rescue your marriage, to save your children and your grandchildren, to promote your business, to promote yourself in your job, etc.  “That’s not what I’ve been taught,” you say.  Well, you’ve been taught wrong.  You’ve learned religious doctrine and not Scriptural Truth.  I pray you will grasp this and not be closed minded to God’s inerrant Word.  Don’t take my word for it.  Study this and inquire of the Holy Spirit.  He will show you the Truth.  If you choose not to do this, you will continue to have unanswered prayers and suffer in many or all areas until you leave this world.  This is not God’s will or His best for you – in this life.

Let’s look at four places in the New Testament where we, as Believers, have clearly been taught by Jesus, Himself, and by the Holy Spirit, through other apostles, that WE are to take charge and remedy our situation.  WE have been given the authority and the power by God through Jesus Christ to do this:

Mark 16:15-18

15 And He [Jesus] said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He [whomever] that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17 And these signs shall follow them [whomever] that believe; In My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Jesus, the Son of God and the Son of man, prior to ascending to His Father until the Rapture occurs, instructed who in this verse?  He is instructing the disciples.  And this is where religion stops and uses the errant excuse that what Jesus decrees in Mark 16:15-18 is only for the disciples and ended with them.  This is a lie from hell.  If you study the Greek and Hebrew grammar for these four verses, you will see what Jesus commands is continuous throughout all time (time ends after the millennial reign).  This means what Jesus is saying in these verses is as applicable today as it was when He spoke this to the disciples.  Jesus, in these verses, is speaking to YOU and to ME, today!  YOU have the authority and power.  YOU!

Mark 11:23

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Mark 11:23 is Jesus speaking.  Notice the subject is YOUYOU speak to the mountain.  Mountains are metaphors or symbolic for challenges, problems, or kingdoms.  In this case it refers to challenges, problems, tribulations, persecutions, temptations, etc. of this life.  Did Jesus say for YOU to pray to God?  No, He did not.  He commanded YOU and ME to speak to the mountain.  “Well, what do I speak,” you ask?  The Word of God.  YOU speak what God’s Word has to say about the mountain you are facing.

James 4:7

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee [run from you in terror] from you.

James 4:7 says YOU resist the devil, and he will flee from YOU – NOT Jesus.  Not one place in this verse does it tell you to pray to God for help.  WE are told to take the Word of God, the authority and power given us by God, through Jesus Christ, and SPEAK – DECREE – GIVE AN ORDER (just as a General or King) to the situation, to Satan and his minions.  YOU have authority and power over Satan and all his armies.

I Peter 5:8-9

8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

9 Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Who is Peter speaking to in I Peter 5:8-9?  YOU and ME.  Does the Holy Spirit, the Author, speaking through Peter, tell us to pray to God?  No.  The Holy Ghost, through Peter, tells us that WE are to be vigilant, and WE are to resist.  How do we resist?  With the Word of God.  What did Jesus do when tempted directly by Satan or by Satan through men?  He spoke The Word of God to Satan and to Satan’s emissaries.  Jesus GAVE THE ORDER by DECREEING The Word.

Now, for several of you, I’ve upset the apple cart of the doctrine you’ve been taught.  I was misled, too.  But, praise God, He has taught me the Truth.  I encourage you to study this.  At the end of the day, it’s up to you.  As I mentioned earlier, you can stay with the errant doctrine and hang on for Heaven, or you can study the Truth and find out you can live an amazingly abundant life spiritually, materially, and physically (health) in this life, in this world.  And, you have the authority and power to defeat the trials and tribulations of Satan that come your way, in this life.  God only gives good and perfect gifts (James 1:17).  This means God DOES NOT bring trials, tribulations, sickness, disease, or terrible circumstances to you.  He doesn’t use it to teach you a lesson or for His glory.  That is a bold face lie from hell.  Why?  Because He can ONLY give you good and perfect gifts.  Satan brings everything other than good and perfect.  Therefore, YOU can stop Satan in his tracks with the decreed Word of God in faith.  God will test you.  But His tests are only to promote you.  If you fail His test, you just miss out on the promotion at that time.  Everything God does is to bless you.  When’s the last time Satan blessed anyone.

It’s time to quit living at the cross.  Thank God for the cross, but Jesus is NOT there.  We are where He is.  Read Ephesians 1:15 – 23 and 2:1-7.  We are seated at the right hand of God in Christ – NOT at the cross.  Now, realizing this, stop acting like a beggar and take your place as a king and Lord.  Why do you think Jesus is called the “King of kings and Lord of lords?”  We’re the kings and lords over which He is the Head – the Head of the Church.  We are His body, the kings and lords.  Kings and lords don’t beg.  They give orders.  Starting living like one in Christ.   Christ never begged or pleaded.  He commanded.

In Christ,

Larry
