You Shall Not Fear Them

Good Afternoon Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

I know many of the saints on this distribution list have been battling, or, are battling, trials, tribulations, and afflictions.  Satan is roaring as loud as he possibly can right now to scare as many Believers into fear as possible.  He knows if he can get us into fear, we are susceptible to his condemnation, his temptation, and his deception.  If we give way to Satan’s tactics, his strategies, then we negate our ability to operate in faith in the Kingdom of God.  Remember, the Kingdom of God is not a place, it is the collection of spiritual laws and promises, the Word, which we operate by faith in the all powerful name of Jesus Christ.  The spiritual laws will only work by faith.  Fear will not activate God’s faith.

Satan typically comes at us in “seasons.”  It doesn’t mean you won’t have the “one-offs;” however, if you notice, you usually end up having several attacks on many fronts in your family’s and your life.  Satan does this to overwhelm you into fear.  He knows if he can get you into fear, he will be able to take away your ability to operate in the all powerful Word.  I’m in a season of attacks.  I’ve come to learn one thing for certain about the season of attacks.  It happens just before we are to experience spiritual breakthroughs if we don’t give into the fear.  Satan is trying to prevent this from happening because you become stronger and stronger in your faith.

I can honestly say I’ve not fallen into any fear during this season of attacks, God is my witness.  I do have moments of anger at Satan for the torment he is causing those around me.  And, believe me, Satan is working HARD to break me mentally.  The attacks are relentless.  I know you’ve experienced these, too.  My personal experience is spending a lot praying in tongues, the holiest of communications, which is God’s Spirit in you praying the perfect prayer to the Father through Jesus Christ, which Satan and his demonic forces cannot understand, and reading, studying, meditating God’s Word are the two best weapons.

During my reading Tuesday in the book of Deuteronomy, this verse leapt out at me.  As always, God has perfect timing.

Deuteronomy 3:22

Ye shall not fear them: for the LORD your God he shall fight for you.

God spoke this to Moses who is speaking to the Children of Israel.  God was speaking of the giants in the Promised Land.  The giants of the Old Testament are a type of the demonic challenges we have from Satan and his forces every day.  But, God gave us a commandment, “YOU SHALL NOT FEAR THEM.”  Why?  Because, He, GOD, SHALL FIGHT FOR YOU.  The Holy Spirit asked me, “has God ever lost a battle or war?”  Of course not.  The Holy Spirit said, “then why are you concerned now?  Are you any less loved an valuable to God than Moses, Joshua, the Children of Israel?”  No, I’m not.  “Then praise God for His goodness, mercy, and blessings to a thousand generations of Believers.”

In closing, every time Satan tries to “squat” in the fields of my mind, tries to illegally rent space in my head, I decree this verse against him over and over.  And, like always, my mind and my heart settle in peace, enjoying the awesome and wonderful promises I have in Christ as a New Covenant Believer.  Promises for the time I have right here on this earth.  Have you ever though about the fact we don’t need promises once we get to Heaven?  That’s why all of His promises are for us – here and now.

Have a wonderful day, weekend, and holiday with your families.  Remember who you are:

WE ARE VICTORS COMING FROM A VICTORY GOING TO A SUCCESS!!

In Christ,

Larry
