Good Afternoon Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
We are living in exciting times! End-time prophecies are occurring right in front of our eyes, and we are on the precipice of the rapture. No, I’m not forecasting a year or date. I’m only acknowledging that we are watching God’s final prophecies come to pass drawing us closer to the last day. Did you know that Trump’s declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of sovereign Israel was foretold by scripture? And the very day and hour the President declared Jerusalem as the capital of Israel was foretold 3,000 years ago. The purpose of this email is not to go into end-time prophecy, but to point out the Fullness of the Gentiles is drawing to a close. Awesome! However, it also means we have much to do as Believers before we meet our Savior and our Father. What will be your testimony to the Father and the Son when you stand before Them?
Hebrews 1:2
Hath [God] in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He [God] hath appointed Heir [Jesus] of all things, by Whom [Jesus] also He [God] made the worlds:
Jesus is the heir of ALL THINGS according to God’s Word.
Matthew 28:18
And Jesus came and spake unto them [disciples] saying, All power is given unto Me in Heaven and in earth.
God gave ALL POWER in Heaven and in the earth to Jesus.
John 16:13-15
13Howbeit when He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all Truth; for He [Holy Spirit] shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.
14He [Spirit of Truth, Holy Spirit] shall glorify Me [Jesus], for He [Holy Spirit] shall receive of Mine, and shall shew it unto you.
15All things that the Father hath are Mine: therefore said I, that He [Holy Spirit] shall take of Mine [Jesus Christ], and shall shew it unto you.
This is some awesome scripture, spoken directly from the very mouth of the Son of man, Jesus Christ. Everything that belongs to Jesus Christ shall be shown unto the Believer by the Holy Spirit, including things to come. Why is it so important that “all things” the Father hath, that now belong to Christ, are shown unto us?
Romans 8:16-17
16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit [our soul], that we are the children of God:
17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ: if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together.
The reason it is so important that “all things that belong to Christ” are shown to us is because of Romans 8:17. We are joint-heirs with Jesus Christ. Every single little and big thing given to Christ, in Heaven, in the earth, and under the earth, is given to us, Believers, because we are joint-heirs. Do you realize God cannot give Jesus Christ the day or hour of the Rapture because Jesus would have to share it with us – His joint heirs. It’s going to come as the thief in the night. Satan is not going to have any advance notice.
Before I go further, let me put to rest a “religious” point that comes from Romans 8:17. Religious in that it is wrongly taught by religion and denominations. The second half of Romans 8:17 which says, “if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together” is not referring to us going out and suffering for Christ to obtain glory. There is nothing that we can do to obtain glory.
John 17:22
And the glory which Thou gavest Me I have given them; that they may be one, even as We are one:
When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord, King, Savior, and Redeemer, we are spiritually crucified, buried, and resurrected with Jesus Christ unto all glory. That’s the “suffering” spoken of in Romans 8:17. Our symbolic spiritual suffering is through the act and works of Jesus Christ and Christ alone. And, we receive the glory Christ receives upon our acceptance of Christ as our Lord, King, Savior, and Redeemer. This is not to say there may be some suffering for us on this earth, but it doesn’t earn you additional glory. Only the finished redemptive works of Jesus Christ earns us the glory of Christ as His joint heir.
I’ve referenced this many times, but what is it we receive as the joint-heir with Christ?
Revelation 5:12
Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing [The Blessing].
Yep, all of this referred to in Revelation 5:12 is yours, as a Believer. Now, I have Believers argue with me this is reserved for us in Heaven, not on this earth. I tell them let’s look and see if we have the same Word of God.
I John 4:17
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He [Jesus Christ] is, so are we [Believer] in this world.
Strange, when the Believer arguing looks at this scripture, which is in their Bible and in my Bible, it says the same thing. It’s right there in black and white. As Christ is right now in Heaven, so am I in this world. That means this EARTH – right now – today. Either God is lying, or we are lying. I say it’s us when we don’t believe what God’s Word plainly says. And it plainly says, I am just like Christ is at this very moment. So, Revelation 5:12 describes me as a Believer. I believe it and receive it in the name of Christ. Awesome!!
Galatians 4:1
1Now I say, that the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
2But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father:
3Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of this world:
It is important that we move from being a “child” in the Word to being a “son or daughter.” This means you are maturing in the knowledge of God and of Jesus Christ through the Word (II Timothy 2:15; II Timothy 3:16-17). If we don’t do this as Believers, you will remain a child and a servant trapped in bondage to the elements of this world (wisdom of the world, Satan’s deception, condemnation, temptation, sickness, disease, financial struggles, relationship struggles, etc.) when we should be lord of all.
We can either walk like an Egyptian (song from the 80’s), which symbolizes walking like the world, or we can walk, think, believe, and talk like a King, like a god, like a child of the Most High God, and a joint-heir with the King and Lord of all creation, Jesus Christ. Speak only what God has to say about you and yours. Take your dominion on and in this earth and call from Heavenly places all the spiritual blessings already given unto you by God in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). It’s your choice.
In Christ,
Larry
