Are You Cheating God Out of His Glory

Good Evening Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

I pray you are spiritually prospering through the study of God’s Word and receiving great health and material prosperity as a result and being a blessing to others as God has commanded you (I didn’t say this – God did in III John 2 and Genesis 12:2-3).

Attached is a teaching entitled, “Are You Cheating God Out of His Glory?”  I think when you go through this study and then take time to study it further in God’s Word, you’ll see we are and have been cheating God of His glory.  I know you wouldn’t willingly and knowingly do this – or would you?  That’s up to you to determine once you are given this knowledge through the teaching.  We have free will to repent of our stinking thinking and do what God’s Word says or to continue on in man’s and our wisdom – which is pure foolishness in God’s eyes.

The foundation verse for this teaching is John 14:13-15:

John 14:13-15

13And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14If ye shall ask any thing in My name I will do it.

15If ye love Me, keep My commandments.

Have you asked for your “whatsoever’s” or your “any things?”  If you aren’t, you are cheating God the Father out of His glory.  And, like a teacher the day before a test, Jesus, God in the flesh, stomps the floor or slaps the desk, and repeats it again in verse 14.  Finally, to drive the point home to a undeniable conclusion, Christ says “you’ll do what I tell you to do if you love Me” in verse 15.  What did He just tell you to do?  Ask for your “whatsoever’s” and your “any things” in His name.  Look, this is so plain and simple, you need a theologian or denomination to mess it up.  And, yet, it’s happening every single day.

I write this in the love of Christ.  If you’re not willing to trust God and believe Him at His Word, you’ll just do without until you reach Heaven.  Me, I plan to live a long, healthy, physically strong, materially and spiritually blessed life on this earth leaving a sizeable inheritance to my children’s children (Proverbs 13:22; yep, God commands you to do this) and blessing others and the families of the earth (Genesis 12:2-3) with sizeable gifts through sowing generously and gleefully.

Folks, I cannot lose.  I’ve read the Book, and I win in this life and in the life to come.  I believe all of God’s Word, and I have an expectation of being spiritually, physically, and materially blessed every day of my life (Psalm 115:14; Proverbs 10:22, 24).  I’m more than a conqueror through Him that loves me (Romans 8:37), all things, no matter if they’re good or bad, work to my good (Romans 8:28), I have the mind of Christ (I Corinthians 2:16), I have the anointing and know all things (I John 2:20), I know things to come (John 16:13), I can do anything through Christ Himself (Philippians 4:13), my God supplies all my needs and wants from His riches in glory in Christ (Philippians 4:19), my body is healed and made whole of everything on it and inside it from the curse by the stripes of Christ (I Peter 2:24), no man can stand against me all the days of my life (Joshua 1:5), God has given me power to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18), everything I put my hand to prospers (Deuteronomy 28:8), I am the head and not the tail, above every situation and not below it, a lender and not a borrower (Deuteronomy 28:12-13), my children and my generations to come are mighty on this earth (Psalm 112:2), and wealth and riches are in my house (Psalm 112:3).   How can you lose with this resume, and it is not even complete.  Guess what?  This is you, too, as a Believer.  Speak it and believe it.  It’s awesome!

In Christ,

Larry
