You Are Already Healed!

Good Afternoon Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

In my previous email, I spoke to the wrong used expression many Believers have been taught to use in their prayers, “If it be Thy will.”  Where do we find God’s will for our lives?  In His Word.  There is NO OTHER PLACE.  From the Word of God, the Holy Spirit will show you, through revelation, specific assignments God has for you.  But, God’s will for you is in His Word.  Therefore, if God’s will is stated for you, why would you pray the prayer of unbelief, “if it be Thy will”?

III John 2

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper [materially] and be in health [physically], even as thy soul [spiritually] prospereth.

I John 5:14-15

14And this is the confidence we have in Him that, if we ask ANY THING according to HIS WILL, He heareth us:

15And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we KNOW that we HAVE the petitions that we DESIRED of Him.

Is it God’s will you are healed and in great health?  YES!  Is it God’s will you are materially prospering?  YES!  Is it God’s will you are spiritually prospering?  YES!  Ok, then ASK FOR IT!!!  It is HIS WILL for you.  I John 5:14-15 makes it PLAIN AS DAY that if you ask ANYTHING according to His will, He hears you and grants you the petition you desired of Him.  Hallelujah!!  Praise God for His goodness and His simplicity.  Only a theologian and the religious can screw it up.

I promised in this email I would address the problem with the prayer, “Father, please heal my so and so.”   Ok, is it God’s will you live in great health?  Yes, as shown in III John 2.  Is III John 2 a promise to a Believer from God?  Yes, absolutely.  What does God say about His promises?

II Corinthians 1:20

For all the promises of God in Him [Christ] are yea, and in Him, Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

So, God said all of His promises in His Word are yes and amen for His Children through Christ.  Are you a child of God?  Well, ALL of His promises are yours.

John 10:10

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:  I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Jesus came to do the will of His Father, God.  Jesus spoke the Words of John 10:10.  He said He came to give Believers a “more abundant life.”  Not just an abundant life, but a more abundant life. Ok, so what is the “abundant life” Jesus spoke of in John 10:10?

Luke 4:17-19

17And there was delivered unto Him the book of the prophet Esaias [Isaiah].  And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written,

18The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He had sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

19To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

The above verses was Jesus’ mission during His time on this earth.  And, as you can see, healing is a major part of it.  Jesus never turn away from healing anyone that came to Him in faith.  He never told anyone He couldn’t heal them or that God wanted them to stay sick longer or that God was using this sickness for God’s glory, or that God was punishing them.

Acts 10:38

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him.

Who did the Holy Spirit say “oppressed” people in Acts 10:38?  Yes, the devil.  God doesn’t oppress ANYONE.  Any teaching in any church that promotes God’s punishment or God’s glory through Him putting sickness on someone is anathema.  It is outright heresy, period.

God wants people healed, and He demonstrated this through Jesus.  When the leper in Luke 5:12-13 said, “Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.  And He put forth His hand, and touched him [leper], saying, I will: be thou clean.  And immediately the leprosy departed from him.”

There it is in black and white above.  God’s wants every Believer healed and living a supernaturally healthy life.  Jesus said, “I will.”  And there were no conditions on the healing other than the person being healed believing.  Is God a respecter of persons?  No, absolutely not.  This is made clear in Acts 10:34 – God is no respecter of persons.  This means God will heal you just as fast as He will heal anyone else in this world or in history.

You see, the question for most Believers is not if Jesus “could” heal you.  It’s “would” Jesus heal you.  And, until a Believer realizes in their own heart that Jesus, therefore God, wants to heal them, they’ll never receive healing from Him.  They’ll watch other people receive healing and miss out on it themselves.

I Peter 2:24

Who His [Christ] own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness:  by whose stripes you were healed.

We already know from III John 2, God’s will is we live in perfect health.  I Peter 2:24 tells us that Christ already healed us, before we have/had any health concerns, through each of the stripes He suffered during the scourging.  For us to remain sick or infirmed is to live far below our privileges as a Child of God.

The book of Isaiah, chapter 53:4 is as follows:

Isaiah 53:4

Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows:  yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

What does the very first word, “surely,” mean?  Not it might happen, but that it’s a fact.  So, the verse says, “It’s a fact that He hath borne our griefs…”  The King James Version inaccurately translated the Hebrew words in this verse.  The literal Hebrew translation for “griefs” is “sickness,” and for “sorrows” is “disease.”  So, if it is translated correctly, it reads, “It’s a fact He [Jesus] hath borne our sickness, and carried our disease.”  Folks, this is why you have to “study” God’s Word.  It is NOT God’s will for us to be unhealthy, sick, diseased, or infirmed.  The curse, Satan, and our mouths (the words we speak over ourselves) brings it upon us.  But, God gives us a way out through faith in the finished work of Christ’s redemption.

God put all of the diseases, sicknesses, infirmities, maiming, depressions, mental anguish, addictions, viruses, bacteria, etc. on the body of Christ during His scourging and crucifixion.  God didn’t put it on His Son to have it put on us, again.  Quoting Ken Copeland, “When sin entered the world, it brought with it the forces of destruction:  death, sickness, poverty, and fear.  Jesus bore sin’s penalty and, at the same time, did away with all the effects of it.  Jesus paid the full price at Calvary, covering every area of human life:  spiritual, mental, physical, financial, and social.  Our redemption is complete.”

So, if we ASK God to heal us, we are not praying according to God’s will.  Why?  Because it has already been done through the redemptive acts of Jesus Christ.  What are we told to do concerning our healing?  Very simply, speak to it in faith and command it to leave your body by the stripes and the name of Jesus Christ.

Mark 11:23-24

23For verily [truly] I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

24Therefore I say unto you, what things so-ever you desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Jesus speaking to us in the above verses.  The “mountain” referenced in verse 23 is symbolic for those problems/challenges you face (the Holy Spirit instructed me in my own prayer/decree life to re-label problems/challenges as “opportunities – opportunities for success.”  We are guaranteed success in all of God’s Word in every situation we engage in as long as it’s according to His will) such as health, finances, business, relationship, marriage, job, etc.  Does verse 23 say to pray to God and ask Him to do it?  No, Jesus, who only says and does what He hears and sees His Father say and do, told us to “SPEAK” to the mountain.  SPEAK TO IT – not climb it, not try to blow it up, not try to dig around it, not pray to God, etc.  You, through Jesus Christ, have already been given the victory over EVERYTHING in this world that is not of God.  Now, do according to the Word of God and take your victory.

I realize I can’t possibly teach the length and depth required in an email for this subject.  However, as I’ve always said, use this as a launching point for your study of God’s Word on healing.  There are plenty of great materials available from the likes of Ken Copeland, Bill Winston, Andrew Wommack, Kenneth Hagin, Joseph Prince, among others, that teach and preach the inerrant Word of Truth as God meant it to be taught.  We have access through the Internet to an incredible treasure of teachings from the Holy Spirit through many Men and Women of God who God is using to spread His unadulterated Word – THE TRUTH – to set Believers and non-Believers free from the bondage of the devil and his deception – deception based on using God’s Word and twisting it, as he did with Eve in the Garden, into a perversion.

Remember, we are commanded to STUDY God’s Word and if we diligently seek Him through His Word, He promises great rewards in this life and the life to come.  If we actually STUDY God’s Word, the Holy Spirit will reveal to you the lies we’ve been told by religion.  NO MORE BONDAGE for me my Sisters and Brothers.

In Christ,

Larry
