Good Morning Brothers,

What an awesome day the Lord has made!  I don’t know about you, but I have an expectation of my Father.  An expectation that He will increase my children and me more and more today (Psalms 115:14):  increase me physically, spiritually, and materially.  I’m excited, like a kid in a toy store, to see what the increases are today.  My Father gives me gifts every day.  I know, I’ve already heard from people telling me I’m greedy, I’m prosperity minded, I totally off course from God’s Word and what it means.  My reply, meant entirely in love and edification, is, “so God is a liar and you are truth?  What verses and chapters must we rip out of the Bible to support your position?”  Are you prospering every day, in all areas of your life?  If not, then this is not what God’s Word says about you.

III John 2

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Do we rip this verse out of God’s Word?  If we study the verse as God has commanded us to do in II Timothy 2:15, we see that  “prosper” and “health” are both in this physical world.  “Soul prospereth” is spiritual.  As your soul gains greater knowledge of God and of His Son, Jesus Christ, from Jesus’ Spirit in you, through the Word of God, you learn to decree God’s Word, truth, over you and your circumstances so that you operate as this verse tells you that you are to operate in the physical world – prospering and healthy.

Galatians 1:4

Who [Christ] gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father.

This one verse sums it all up.  Christ gave Himself so that we, through His might, are delivered into eternal life, AND, through His might, we are delivered from this present evil world.”  99% of the churches today teach the first part – deliverance into eternal life.  But, they leave off the second part, deliverance from this present evil world.  They teach we are to fight the good fight, struggle, persevere, hang on, claw and scratch, accept mediocrity in this earth, etc. until we are delivered into eternal life through our human death.  Brothers, as hard as this may sound, this is simply wrong.  I’m not condemning anyone.  I am condemning religion.  Jesus never condemned people; however, He did condemn religion.  He condemned religion because it perverts the Word and Power of God in our lives.  It keeps the force of God’s faith in us at low levels.  This is what Jesus constantly fought in His disciples – ye of no faith, ye of little faith.  Why was their faith so poor?  Because of the “religion” of the day.  The religion of that day, and today, tries to teach us we have to perform for God’s approval, for God to move in our lives, for God to bless us.  Terribly wrong again!  There’s nothing any one of us can do to earn God’s approval, to earn God’s blessing, to get God to move in our lives.  We are the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ our Lord (II Corinthians 5:21).  Jesus is the only way we have any standing with our Father.  Jesus came to reconnect us to our Father, His anointing, His power, His promise, and His blessing upon us.

Ephesians 3:20

Now unto Him [Christ} that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

What power in us?  The power put in us when we accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior, and God put the Holy Ghost and power in us.   This verse makes it VERY clear Christ, in us, is able to do well beyond anything we can ever ask or think.  In other words, you CAN NEVER, EVER, tax God’s ability with any of your decrees.  You can’t even make the front porch light in Heaven blink with the grandest and greatest thing you could ask for of God.  But, Jesus is also VERY CLEAR He can only do that which you allow Him to do through your faith – the power that worketh in us.

You can see this with the Children of Israel when they refused to believe God’s Word over the evil reports of 10 of the 12 spies.  They even wanted to stone Caleb and Joshua to death because they DARED believe God’s Word.  Boy, if this doesn’t describe today, I don’t know what does.  God, so badly, wanted to give His children the very best – and there it was right in front of them.  God told them to go into the land and take it.  God had already done everything for them.  They just needed to obey Him in faith.

Isaiah 1:19

If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.

OR

Psalm 78:41

Yea, they [Children of Israel] turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.

Which are you:  the one willing and obedient to God’s Word or the one who believes the vain traditions of men, the rudiments of the world, and not Jesus Christ our Lord (Colossians 2:8).

Numbers 14:24

But My servant Caleb, because he hath another spirit with him, and hath followed Me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.

“Hath followed Me fully” means believed and obeyed all of God’s Word – not some of it, not pick and choose, not interject opinion or preferences, not well so and so said.  “Hath another spirit with him” means Caleb operated spiritually, not carnally.  Romans 8:6 tells us, “for to be carnally minded is death, and to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

Brothers, I love all of you and pray you’re experiencing II Peter 1:2-3

II Peter 1:2-3

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.

According as His divine power [placed in us at salvation] hath given unto us all things [every thing you could possibly ever need for anything in this world] that pertain unto life [physical] and godliness [spiritual], through the knowledge of Him [God] that hath called us unto glory and virtue:

Love to all in Christ,

Larry
