Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

I always enjoy how our loving Father continuously communicates His infinite love for us through His Word and through His promises fulfilled in our lives.  I’m always referencing what The Holy Spirit wrote through Paul in Hebrews 4:16:

Hebrews 4:16

Let us therefore come boldly unto The Throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

We’re to always come boldly to our Father sitting upon The Throne of Grace [unmerited, unearned, undeserved, unlimited favor].  To come any other way is offensive to our Father, and your prayers cannot be answered by God.  To come boldly is to come without fear.  Coming without fear means you are coming in faith.  Remember, there are ONLY two states you can ever be in during this life on earth:  fear or faith.  There is nothing else, no grey area, and no third rail.  One or the other.

Why is it our Father has instructed us to “come boldly?”  Look no further than Colossians 1:21-22 for the answer:

Colossians 1:21-22

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath He [Jesus] reconciled

22 In the body of His [Jesus] flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His [Jesus] sight:

Jesus only sees us as holy, unblameable, and unreproveable.  But one might ask, “how does God, The Father, see us?”

John 10:30

I and My Father are One.

In John 10:30, Jesus makes it clear He is The Father in the flesh.  Jesus is saying, “I and My Father are the same One.”  So, if Jesus sees us as holy, unblameable, and unreprovable, God The Father sees us the same way.  But Larry, you don’t know the things I’ve done.  No, I don’t.  But I know what God’s Word says.  He sees you as holy, unblameable, and unreprovable through Jesus Christ.  You see, it has NOTHING to do with you and EVERTHING to do with Jesus Christ.  This is what the entire Holy Scriptures are saying.

Colossians 1:15-19

15 Who [Jesus] is the image of the invisible God, the Firstborn of every creature:

16 For by Him [Jesus] were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him [Jesus], and for Him [Jesus]:

17 And He [Jesus] is before all things, and by Him [Jesus] all things consist.

18 And He [Jesus] is the Head of the body, the church: Who [Jesus] is The Beginning, The Firstborn from the Dead; that in all things He [Jesus] might have the preeminence.

19 For it pleased the Father that in Him [Jesus] should all fulness dwell;

Colossians 1:15-19 plainly shows us IT IS ALL ABOUT JESUS.  Therefore, in Hebrews 4:16 when The Holy Spirit, through Paul, says, “Let us,” The Holy Spirit is saying “Jesus and you.”  When we come to The Throne of Grace boldly, Jesus is with us.  Read how God sees Jesus in Colossians 1:15-19.  This is why we can come boldly to The Throne of Grace.  Every day when I come to The Throne of Grace, I come with Jesus.  God sees me as Colossians 1:21-22.  God sees Jesus as Colossians 1:15-19.  What a WINNING combination!!!  Do you think satan has a chance against this dynamic duo?  Of course not.  In fact, satan is already defeated by Jesus [Revelation 1:18] and by me coming “BOLDLY” in faith to The Throne of Grace.

In closing, we have absolutely no reason to fear anything.  Why?  Because the victory has already been won by Jesus Christ.  We are NOT going to a victory to become victors.  We are victors coming from a victory going to a success.  If we want to have success in The Kingdom of God, we must see ourselves as God sees us:  kings and priests [Revelation 1:5-6] that are holy, unblameable, and unreproveable [Colossians 1:22] to whom God, through Jesus, has given us the keys to The Kingdom of God [Matthew 16:19].  Remember what Jesus said in Mark 9:23:

Mark 9:23

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

How many “things?”  ALL THINGS!!  The question is, “can you believe?”

You cannot have Abraham’s blessing with Thomas’ faith.

In Christ,

Larry
