Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
How is your fruit producing in 2024? Do you have a bumper (abundant) crop already or are you struggling to produce?
Jesus in John 10:10 told us He came to see that we live an overflow life in abundance.
John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Jesus tells us satan, the devourer, is stealing, killing, and destroying. However, Jesus said “Life” has come to you through Me, and I bring to you “Life in abundance.” Where did Jesus bring “Life in abundance” to us? Yes, in this earth, NOW. Not when we get to Heaven. We don’t need Life in abundance in Heaven because Heaven is God’s will, and God’s will is “Life in abundance.” This is why Jesus instructed us, from The Father, to pray “Thy will be done in earth as it is in Heaven.” So, what is God’s will for us on earth? Yes, “Life in abundance.”
What does “Life in abundance” mean? What does “Life in abundance” look like? John 10:10 was Jesus’ reconnecting man to The Blessing of Genesis 1:28. Let’s examine the verse.
Genesis 1:28
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Genesis 1:28 was the first thing Adam and Eve heard from God, The Creator’s, mouth. It was The Blessing. Notice it says, “And God blessed them.” Years ago, I often wondered what God said as part of The Blessing. Eventually the lightbulb of revelation came on inside me, and I realized “The Blessing” was what followed when the verse says, “and God said unto them, …” I know, blinding flash of the obvious. When Jesus spoke John 10:10, He was referring back to Genesis 1:28. When His Father blessed Adam and Eve, He spoke The Blessing of the abundant life.
The five laws of The Blessing God spoke over Adam and Eve, and their seed, are “be fruitful, multiply, replenish, subdue, and have dominion.” These same five laws are the “abundant life” Jesus spoke of in John 10:10. Let’s look at each law of The Blessing:
The word “blessed” in Hebrew has several meanings which are summed up to mean “empowered to prosper.” “Empowered” means a Believer has the authority and power to prosper if they believe, confess, and receive.
“Be fruitful” = Hebrew word “parah” which means, “bear fruit, be fruitful, grow, increase.”
“and multiply” = Hebrew word “rabah” which means, “to be or become much, many or great, grow, increase, abundance.”
“and replenish” = Hebrew word “mala” which means, “to be full or filled.”
“and subdue it” = Hebrew word “kabash” which means, “to subdue, dominate, to bring into bondage, forced into bondage, subjugate, tread under our foot.”
“and have dominion” = Hebrew word “radah” which means, “to have dominion, rule, dominate, prevail against, reign, rule, take.”
To sum the above, God said the Believer is to routinely produce the fruit of righteousness (Healing, Protection, Deliverance, Prosperity) through the faith-spoken decree of God’s Word, in abundance, and fill the earth with God’s Kingdom by subjugating and bringing into bondage the forces of evil through reigning, ruling, and prevailing against them and all things in the earth in Christ Jesus. In other words, “have the same walk and get the same results Jesus did during His three- and one-half-year ministry.
Note God has an order in Genesis 1:28 – bear fruit first, multiply it, fill the earth with it, use it to subdue, and to have dominion. First, we must bear fruit and multiply it. What is the fruit? It’s mastering God’s Word in knowledge, wisdom, and in use. One cannot have dominion, subdue, or fill without having first become fruitful with The Word and its use and using The Word to bring Heaven to earth in everything we do, everyone we meet, and everywhere we go. When Jesus said, “I, Life, have come,” He reconnected Believers to The Blessing of Genesis 1:28. Through The Blessing, we are empowered by God, anointed by God, to do the things in the flesh that only God can do. When Jesus was anointed and was baptized with the Holy Spirit in the river Jordan, God anointed Him, and He began His powerful ministry of Word and signs.
Your proportion of inheritance in The Kingdom is proportional to how you see yourself in Christ Jesus.
In Christ,
