How to Prosper Spiritually, Physically, and Materially

Good Morning Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

Our Father’s will for us is summed up in III John 2.

III John 2

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

I’ve written quite a bit about this wonderful verse.  As the Holy Spirit taught me, until our soul prospers with the wisdom of God and hidden mysteries of His Word, we will not have the material prosperity and great health that Christ intends for us.  Yes, you may excel in a great paying job, invest well and time it right in the stock market, pay for high-end health counseling, have routine health test and tweaks made to your diet, your supplements, etc.  However, this is not God’s best for you.  Why?  Without it being based on the Word of God, your money and health are tenuous at best.  In other words, it is open for Satan to successfully attack.

So, how do we prosper spiritually, physically, and materially in a manner that we are protected and blessed according to God’s Word?  The following are four steps to prospering in everything you do:

1. The key to prospering is the presence of the Lord.  We must walk in His presence in all things in our lives.  We find this in Proverbs 3:6.
2. The key to walking in the presence of the Lord is obedience.  If we obey, there are rewards.  We find this in Isaiah 1:19.
3. The key to obedience is faith.  A farmer plants because he believes in a harvest.  We find this in Hebrews 3:18 and Mark 4:26-29.
4. The key to faith is hearing the Word over and over again, meditating in it until we receive the revelation and the manifestation.  We find this in Romans 10:17.

Proverbs 3:6

In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.

Isaiah 1:19

If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

Hebrews 3:18

And to whom sware He that they should not enter into His rest, but to them that believed not?

Mark 4:26-29

²⁶ And He said, So is the Kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;

²⁷ And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.

²⁸ For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.

²⁹ But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.

Romans 10:17

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

God’s absolute and unadulterated will is for III John 2 to come to pass in every aspect of our lives ON THIS EARTH.  Look folks, WE DON’T NEED THIS IN HEAVEN!  So, for the crowd whose religious beliefs are this is spiritual only – the physical, material, and spiritual prospering – their doctrine was just destroyed.

It never ceases to amaze me how many Believers will push back on God’s grace and goodness to them by adhering to dogmatic, denominational doctrines.  The Holy Spirit through Paul had something to say about this.

Colossians 2:8

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Here it is in black and white.  Denominational doctrines are the traditions of men and rudiments of the world.  These traditions and rudiments spoil [steal, rob] you through its philosophy and vain [empty, worthless] deceit.  Satan uses religion to steal and rob The Blessing of God from Believers.  And he’s been very successful.  Today, God has called many Believers like me and several of you to stand up against the heresy preached and taught in churches to bring God’s unadulterated and inerrant Truth through Christ to the Body of Christ.  In this last generation, great signs and wonders and amazing wisdom and hidden mysteries of God’s Word will be revealed through the power of the Holy Spirit.  And most of it will not come from churches, but it will come from the Body of Christ, The Church.  It is happening as I write.  Satan is all out and all in as you can see in the world and domestic events.  Evil men and women are abounding greatly.  What is evil is now seen as good and what is good is now seen as evil.  We are in the days as of Noah.  It is going to get much worse.  However, have no fear, because a Believer is decreed by God to win all the time and every time, if we believe God’s Word and decree it over ourselves and our family.

Don’t just accept what you are taught blindly.  And that even means what I write or say to you.  We ALL have a commandment from God in I John 4:1 to try the “spirits.”  This means to try the word you are hearing by proving it through the Word of God and with the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit is your teacher, and if you ask, He will not allow you to be duped.  But you have to pursue it.  You’re not just going to sit on your butt on the couch and be fed grapes by the Holy Spirit.  You must participate by fulfilling II Timothy 2:15 – study!

I John 4:1

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Jesus teaches us in John 6:63 that His Word is Spirit and life.  This also means Satan’s or the world’s words are spirit and death.  Words have spiritual value – life and death, blessing and cursing.

John 6:63

It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the Words that I [Jesus] speak unto you, They are Spirit, and they are life.

We know the Word of God is Spirit because we know God is a Spirit (John 4:24) and God is the Word (John 1:1, Revelation 19:13).
