Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
During the past week the Lord has been impressing one thought continuously on my mind. His Words are, “I AM The God of the impossible and My mercy endureth forever.” Sunday, Monday, and this morning during my prayer time with Him, He’s had me repeating these Words over and over out loud. The one thing I know about my Father is everything has a purpose. There are no coincidences or happenstance or chance with God. He has me saying these Words for a reason. And I’ve learned, through the years, He usually doesn’t reveal everything at once. He reveals it in purposeful segments so I can slowly meditate and digest it in faith. God builds the faith in us step by step, joint by joint, so when what He is leading us to do is upon us, our root of faith is driven deep into His Word and His faith in us. We learn to fear no evil tidings, no attack or deception of Satan’s against God’s plan, because our hearts have become fixed upon The Word of God for His plan, and we trust in Him to perform it through us.
Through my study this week, God continues to build on the Word He put into my heart. The Hebrew word for Heaven is “shamayim.” Every Hebrew word ending in “im” is plural. The Hebrew word for earth is “aretz.” It is singular. Now, the words themselves, one plural and one singular, don’t really reveal anything in particular. We all know the meaning of Heaven and earth. However, it’s not the words themselves, but what they represent in Hebrew. Aretz represents a singular or “finite” existence, one with limitations. Everything in the physical realm is limited. It has an end to it, it cannot complete anything, and it cannot create exceeding abundance. No matter how much of the physical realm we accumulate or possess, it cannot complete us or satisfy us. Conversely, shamayim represents a plural or “infinite” existence, one without limitations. Everything in the Spiritual or Heavenly realm is infinite, without boundary, and unending. Only that which is Heavenly or Spiritual can complete us, satisfy us, and continually keep our heart full.
The Lord is revealing exactly what Jesus meant in Matthew 6:33.
Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
We, as Believers, must live in this earth, this world, but we are not of this world. We are of shamayim. As such, we are to operate at a level far superior to the unsaved world with unlimited faith, unlimited power, unlimited wisdom, unlimited riches, unlimited goodness, unlimited mercy, unlimited everything!
Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19 says it all. Our God SHALL supply all OUR need ACCORDING TO HIS riches in glory BY CHRIST JESUS. God Himself is the definition of infinite. Everything good and perfect belongs to God and was created by Him. And God’s very nature creates an infinite supply. We don’t need to try to figure it out with our limited mind. We just need to accept it in our heart by faith. God has an infinite supply of anything and everything we could possibly ever need for all eternity – in this earth and in Heaven.
The point of what God is speaking to and teaching me with His Word, “I AM The God of the impossible and My mercy endureth forever,” is I should NEVER fill my heart with man’s word or man’s wisdom or subscribe to anything man has to say, ever. Instead, my heart is to be set on that which is Heavenly, which is Spiritual, and, in doing so, I will have no limitations in my thinking, in my believing, in my speaking, or in my receiving. I can learn to operate as Jesus did in the earth. Jesus modeled operating in the Kingdom of God with every thought, word, and deed of His. Jesus was never, ever limited or finite. He always operated in the infinite, the Spiritual. We are to do the very same.
In closing, WE choose what we think, what we believe, what we speak, and what we receive. Not God. We choose to limit our thinking to the finite and not to the infinite. We choose to be aretz-minded and not shamayim-minded. As God said in Deuteronomy 30:19, “…..therefore choose life that both thou and thy seed may live.” God will not choose for us. We must do so and confess it with our mouth in faith.
Have a wonderful week in Christ Jesus.
