Morning Brothers,

Sorry for the onslaught of emails, but I’ve been going through a time of harvest with the Word of God.  I’d like to share this quick one with you about the power of our words.  It will be very short.

Psalms 103:20

Bless the LORD, ye His angels, that excel in strength, that do His commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His Word.

Each Believer is assigned a ministering spirit (angel) or spirits (angels) (look up “ministering” to understand what his means).  This angel is spiritually in your physical presence.  If you could see into the supernatural, you would see this angel or angels.  As Psalms 103:20 states, the angel(s) are standing by “hearkening” or “listening” for God’s Word decreed in faith to carry it out for you.

On the other hand, Satan and his demons are standing by as well:

Psalms 39:1

I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle while the wicked is before me.

David is stating the “wicked,” which is Satan and his demons, is ever before him, and he will guard his mouth so as not to give Satan and his army any access to his life through David’s words.

David further asks God to help him keep a guard over his lips:

Psalm 141:3

Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

David understood what he said could let things into his life or get things out of his life.  David was under the old covenant when God did things for the saints.  God won’t do this for the new covenant saints.  You are responsible for keeping the door of your own lips through the Law of Confession.  You have the Spirit of God in you.  David could only have it on him for brief periods.

Blessings to all,

Larry
