Prosperity – God Absolutely Meant It for You #3

Good Afternoon Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

We’re continuing to examine “prosperity” and why God’s will for you, the Believer, is to prosper spiritually, materially, and physically.  Please get this:  IT IS GOD’S WILL THAT YOU PROSPER MATERIALLY, HAVE GREAT HEALTH, AS YOUR SOUL PROSPERS (III John 2).  But why does God want you to prosper?  I mean, if you prosper, you’re going to be so caught up in your prosperity that you forget God and go an evil way.  You know what the Scriptures say, “Money is the root of all evil.  And, it’s easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God.”  Yes, I was bamboozled by those Scriptures and by wrong teaching for years, too.  Let’s examine further.

Luke 12:32

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

What Kingdom?  Yes, the Kingdom of God.  God is “giving” it to us.  Yeah, so what does this mean?  Without the Kingdom, you can’t experience prosperity, great health, and a great spiritual walk with God.  Where is this Kingdom?  In our hearts, our Spiritual hearts (Luke 17:21).  What is this Kingdom?  It is God’s government, His Spiritual laws.  Ok, it’s getting confusing, right?  Let’s look at it from a different approach.

When a Believer is born again, they lose their satanic, world citizenship and become members of the Family of God and citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven.  A Believer, as a citizen of Heaven, and a member of God’s Family, has all the rights and privileges associated with being an heir and a citizen.  There is a distinction.  Angels are citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven, but they are not heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ (Romans 8:17).  This distinction belongs to human Believers, alone.  As Believers, we are sent from the Kingdom of Heaven, by Christ, as Ambassadors to the earth.  We are now spiritual beings having a human experience.  Before salvation, the roles were reversed.  As Ambassadors of a Spiritual Kingdom, we have the Kingdom of God in our Spiritual hearts.  Ok, I’m lost.  Kingdom of Heaven, Kingdom of God, what’s the difference?  Good question.  The easiest to remember is the Kingdom of Heaven is a place or an abode.  The Kingdom of God is the government or the spiritual laws of the Kingdom of Heaven.

As we, Believers and Ambassadors of the Kingdom of Heaven, walk this earth, we are to operate in the Kingdom of God. Another way of saying it is we are to operate by God’s Spiritual laws.  If we operate by God’s Spiritual laws, we are able to do every single thing Jesus did when He walked the earth plus more (John 14:12).  Yes, raise the dead, cast out demons, heal the sick, prosper materially, and bless others, etc.  When we learn to believe in this Kingdom and learn to operate in it by faith, we will consistently experience Jesus’s results and greater.  They’re not miracles if you can do it all the time.  Jesus didn’t see His works as miracles.  He EXPECTED the Kingdom of God to produce the results He demanded if He operated according to the Spiritual laws.  And, Jesus ONLY operated according to the Spiritual laws.

God expects His Ambassadors to represent His Kingdom correctly and in line with His Word.  We are to bring God’s will to this earth just as His will is done in Heaven.  Let me ask you this.  Does God treat the current citizens of Heaven differently than He treats the Believers on earth?  NO!  If He did, there would be respect of persons, there would be variableness, and there would be a shadow of turning (James 1:17).  God expects you and me, Believers on this earth, to conduct ourselves on earth just as we would conduct ourselves in Heaven.  So, knowing this, is anyone in Heaven lacking anything?  No.  Is anyone in Heaven lacking their desires?  No.  Is anyone in Heaven sick, diseased, infirmed, or weak?  No.  Is anyone in Heaven powerless?  No.  Is everyone in Heaven powerful? Yes.  Is everyone in Heaven rich?  Yes.  Is anything in Heaven less than the very best in all of creation?  No.  If God’s will in Heaven is to be done on earth, then why does everyone in religion struggle with prosperity?  I’ll candidly tell you.  They don’t know God’s Word.  But my pastor, priest, or bishop said…..  I’m sorry, they don’t know God’s Word.  It doesn’t mean they are not saved.  It doesn’t mean they are bad people.  It just means they are Spiritually ignorant.  The Holy Spirit gave me this statement today:

TRUTH SUPERCEDES FACT UNTIL YOU MAKE FACT YOUR TRUTH

Satan deals in fact.  God deals in Truth.  It may be a fact you have cancer.  But it’s not the Truth – unless you make the fact of cancer your truth.  I know, this defies our minds, our human logic.  If it makes sense, it’s not faith.  If it’s faith, it doesn’t make sense.  It may be fact you are in debt, but it’s not Truth.  It may be fact you are an addict, but it’s not Truth. Which are you going to believe?

Luke 16:13

No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Do you believe Truth, or do you believe fact?  It’s a simple question.  As we were taught in the military, there is no quibbling.  There is no grey area.  Whichever you believe is your master.  In this verse, Mammon is the Chaldean god of wealth, a demonic spirit that attaches itself to money.  When you tithe, you remove this demonic spirit from the money you tithed from and the money is now blessed.  Oh Larry, that’s ignorant and superstitious.  Keep believing this and tell me how it goes with your finances.  Mammon is greed.  God is giving and mammon is greed or holding.  If you have a greedy or clutching/holding heart, you are the opposite of God, who is rich in giving.  Your master is not God.

In closing this email, if you’re not prosperous, how can you bless someone?  How can you give them a car, or your car, if you aren’t prosperous?  How can you pay off their home if you’re not prosperous?  How can you pay their hospital bills if you’re not prosperous?  How can you build a Bible Training Center if you’re not prosperous?  I’m going to let you in on a little secret.  Please don’t take this as condemnation.  Your Father loves your dearly no matter what.  If you are not able to do the above, you aren’t prosperous in God’s eyes.  When God says in Genesis 12:2, “I will bless you and make your name great,” how is He going to bless you?  Through His Word decreed by faith in the Kingdom of God.  What is the result of this?  Great prosperity.  Look, if you’re really interested in the Truth and truly living for God, then look and study Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  Are you experiencing their prosperity?  Then you aren’t prosperous in God’s eyes.   Again, God doesn’t condemn us, but He certainly expects us to mature Spiritually to reach our destiny.  Our destiny is to be phenomenal givers.

GOD WILL KEEP YOU MOVING FORWARD, IF YOU WILL ALLOW HIM, UNTIL OPPORTUNITY MEETS GODLY MATURITY, THEN YOU REAP DESTINY

Meditate the above statement.  Your Father is challenging you to allow Him to bless you and make your name great by you being led by the Holy Spirit and learning how to operate in the Kingdom of God.  Once you do learn how to operate, God is able to bless you beyond your wildest dreams and make your name great.  What makes one’s name great today?  Two things: wealth and position.  God will give you both so you can fulfill His covenant with you through Jesus Christ.

Blessings.  More to come on prosperity in the next email.  Oh yeah, I’ll leave you with this.  Jesus’ first miracle was turning the water into wine.  Think about it.  The very first thing Jesus did with His anointing from His Father was an act of prosperity.  You’ll like this.  Jesus translated the water from the physical realm into the Spiritual Kingdom and under the Kingdom jurisdiction.  This enabled Him to change the water to wine.  Remember, God only does the very best.  The gallons (firkens) of wine in today’s value is $250,000,000.  Jesus is not cheap my Sisters and Brothers.  We need to change our thinking.

In Christ,

Larry
