Good Morning Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
It’s a wonderful new year which brings continued blessings and promotion for God’s children, if they understand who they are in Christ, the authority and power they have in Christ, and the Blessing they have in Christ as the seed of Abraham. I’m excited for the new year. I’m excited at what God will accomplish in my life and in yours if you will allow Him.
This will be my last message, in this series, dealing with prosperity. I will certainly come back to it, often, as it is one of the major obstacles used by Satan through religion.
Deuteronomy 8:18
But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
This is a very damaging verse to the cause of those that maintain prosperity is evil or that we shouldn’t seek prosperity to fulfill the command of God for us in Genesis 12:2-3. If God is against prosperity for His Saints (yes, every born-again Believer is a Saint. It is not reserved for those that man would appoint as Saints. Only God can appoint a Saint), why would He put this verse in His Word? Not only this, but God says He has established a blood covenant with Abraham and with Jesus that WE ARE TO GET WEALTH. I know. This goes against everything we’ve been misled with through the years. But this is God’s absolute Truth. You cannot cherry pick God’s Word. You either believe God’s Word, or you don’t.
God is warning us in this verse it is the blood covenant He made with Abraham and with Jesus that gives us the power to get wealth. It is not by our own hands, by our smarts, by our wisdom, by our strength, or by our works. God enables us to get wealth through the covenant to be a blessing to others. And, if you don’t fulfill being a blessing to others, based on God’s direction of the tithe and offerings, you have violated the covenant and the Blessing will not work for you. I didn’t make the rules. God did, and He’s not about to change them for any man or woman.
Luke 19:26
For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.
Jesus spoke these Words while on earth. This is another terribly misunderstood verse. “Hath” what? Hath God’s revealed wisdom by diligently studying His Word. When we obey God’s command in II Timothy 2:15 to “study” God’s Word, God rewards us with wisdom (Hebrews 11:6). This wisdom then prospers our soul, our spiritual heart, and we can fulfill God’s will for us in III John 2 – “that you be in health and prosper, even as your soul prospereth.” God’s absolute will is that you are very healthy ALL THE DAYS OF YOUR LIFE, and you are very prosperous ALL THE DAYS OF YOUR LIFE. God will give us what we decree, as we operate in the wisdom He gives us. We obtain this by diligently seeking Him through His Word. However, Jesus also said if you will not study to gain wisdom, if you will not believe and trust God’s Word completely, your health and your prosperity will be taken away from you. No, God never takes anything He blesses us with away from us. This is another lie from hell. However, God is saying Satan will steal your health and your prosperity if you allow him by not studying God’s Word, believing it, confessing it, and walking in the blessing of it. This is true of 85% of Believers today in this country. We’re not to the level of health or prosperity God has commanded us to reach. We’re not the blessing to others and the world God has called us to be in Genesis 12:2-3.
I pray you will resolve in your heart to sell out to Jesus Christ this year, to commit to proving God’s Word in your life. Give up on this idiotic, Satan-led world, and allow Christ to lead you to enjoy your Kingdom rights as a citizen of Heaven and a child of the Most-High God, joint heir with Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords. We are called to attract the world to Christ. The world doesn’t want the Jesus of most Believers today because other than being saved, most Believers are barely better off than the world. This is not the light God called us to be in His Word. Ask God to show you how to be the light He has called you to be, and if you’re sincere, I promise you that your life will change, and it will be magnificent.
Walk Mighty in His Word and Enjoy His Blessing for You,
Larry
