Someone is Knocking at the Door – Part III

Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ Jesus,

We continue our “Someone is Knocking at the Door” series with Part III of the message.  We’re focused on Matthew 7:7-8 where Jesus instructs us to “ask, seek, and knock” as part of His commandment to us in Matthew 6:33.

Matthew 6:33

“But seek ye first The Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

We’re instructed to seek first The Kingdom of God and God’s righteousness (fruit of righteousness = protection, deliverance, prosperity, healing and wholeness).  If we do these things, we will be wise, knowledgeable, and understanding of how to operate God’s Kingdom to receive all the fruits of righteousness, which Jesus purchased for us with His redemptive acts of love.  These fruits enable us to bless others with the same fruits through Christ Jesus.  And part of the foundation of operating in The Kingdom is Jesus’ commandment to “ask, seek, and knock.”

We concluded last week’s message speaking to Isaiah 45:2-3.  In The Word of God, there is Word which has been there for thousands of years, but the mystery of The Word is only made known to man when it is God’s timing to reveal It.  We’ve learned in past messages there is a physical application to the Children and Nation of Israel and there is a Spiritual application to the New Covenant Saints (this is all Believers).  Please understand when I say “Spiritual” application, it means there is a Spiritual blessing that manifests physically for us in this earth when we operate The Word of God appropriately in The Kingdom.

Isaiah 45:2-3

2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, The LORD, which call thee by thy name, am The God of Israel.

These verses and the inclusion of Isaiah 45:14 provide a prophetic picture to today’s generation, the last generation before the Rapture occurs.  And it is exciting!  What an awesome time to be alive in God’s timeline.

Isaiah 45:2-3 are part of a prophetic word to Cyrus, a Gentile king chosen by God to fulfill God’s purposes.  Spiritually, it reveals a powerful principle in The Kingdom economy—that God has wealth, wisdom, and resources stored in places not visible to the natural eye for His children.

Isaiah 45:2-3 promises God will open doors and give hidden treasures of the unrighteous, the unsaved, of the sinner, to the righteous – if the Believer believes in his heart and confesses or decrees it with his mouth.  Knocking opens territories of influence, streams of income, and generational wealth.

Isaiah 45:14 foretells nations like Egypt, Cush, and the Sabeans acknowledging Israel’s God, bringing their wealth and bowing in recognition that “Surely God is in you, and there is no other God.”  The application to New Covenant Believers, today, is the global acknowledgment of Christ’s Lordship to peoples across the world in every nation, the gathering of people of all nations into the Church, and the witness of God’s presence among His people.

Let’s dive deeper into Isaiah 45:2-3, 14.  I hope we will not let religious dogma, tradition of denominations, and sheer ignorance stop us from receiving the exciting and wonderful revelation that God has revealed to us in these last days.  Ask The Holy Spirit to remove these barriers to receiving The Holy Spirit’s revelation and teaching.  The Scriptures instruct us that God will pour out His Grace and mercy, like never before, in the last days-of which we are living in now.  God will use those who will have “ears to hear” and “hearts to believe” to be living conduits of both His Word and His Kingdom wealth and riches to fund the advancement of God’s Kingdom on earth – as never before.  The Book of Isaiah tells us there will be a remnant of the Church on earth who will heed God’s calling, study and receive His teaching, and will walk out the “last days” mission God put in place before the foundation of the world.

Here are some ways God will use today’s remnant of Believers who “have a different Spirit about them and follow God fully,” as Caleb did (Numbers 14:24), and who have “ears to hear” and “hearts to believe.”  These will be Believers who have been found by God to be excellent in the little things so He can entrust the greater things and riches to them (Luke 16:10-11; Matthew 25:14-29).

Financial Wealth: God entrusts a remnant of Believers with resources to support missions, humanitarian aid, and Gospel-centered initiatives.  When God has found one faithful to His Kingdom, He will stretch the Believer to have faith for greater wealth and riches which God knows the Believer will use for God’s purposes.

Marketplace Influence: Christian entrepreneurs and professionals act as Kingdom ambassadors in their industries.  God will promote them and endue them with His supernatural favor to achieve in their industries like no others.  These Believers will have great influence and great platforms.

Cultural Platforms: Music, film, literature, and digital media become vehicles for spreading Christ’s message.

Global Unity: The diversity of nations in the Church reflects Isaiah’s vision — every tribe and tongue bringing their “wealth” into God’s Kingdom (Revelation 21:24).

Living Witness: The greatest “wealth” is the testimony of God’s presence in His people, compelling others to say, “Surely God is in you.”  The remnant of Believers will be seen as Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob was seen by their contemporaries and other nations.  They will say of this remnant, “We can see the God is with you in everything you do.”

The table that follows imparts the contrast and comparison between Cyrus and Israel and the New Covenant Believer:  the physical shadow of things to come and the Spiritual blessing and physical manifestation in these last days.

Isaiah 45:2–3 → Isaiah 45:14 → New Covenant Believer

Isaiah 45:2–3 – Divine Empowerment of CyrusIsaiah 45:14 – Geopolitical Submission to IsraelNew Covenant Believer Today – End-Time Fulfillment
God goes before Cyrus to break barriers and give hidden treasures.Nations (Egypt, Cush, Sabeans) bring wealth and acknowledge Israel’s God.God is raising up modern “Cyrus-types” (Believers, leaders, financiers) to unlock hidden resources and influence.
Cyrus receives literal treasures from Babylon’s vaults.Israel receives tribute and recognition from Gentile nations.Believers will receive hidden wealth, strategic access, and economic favor to fulfill Kingdom purposes before the Rapture.
Purpose: So that Cyrus knows YHWH (God’s personal covenant name) is the One who called him.Purpose: So that nations confess “Surely God is in you.”Purpose: So that the world sees God’s hand on His people—a visible witness before the catching away (Matt. 5:14–16).
God breaks bronze gates and iron bars—literal military and economic strongholds.Nations yield their labor, merchandise, and stature to Israel.God will supernaturally dismantle barriers (legal, financial, institutional) that have restricted Kingdom advancement.
Cyrus acts as God’s anointed agent for Israel’s restoration.Israel becomes the center of Spiritual and economic recognition. The Church becomes the visible steward of divine resources, fulfilling prophetic roles in global transformation (Isa. 60:5–11).

What are the “treasures of darkness” and the “hidden riches of secret places?”  Let’s dive even deeper into understanding God’s divine design for these last days.

1. Spiritual Revelation

These are Truths, insights, and mysteries that are concealed until sought.

Colossians 2:3

“In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”

These treasures are unlocked through seeking, as in Matthew 7:7–8.

An example of this is the revelation about sowing, decreeing, and supernatural multiplication—these are economic keys hidden from the world but revealed to Kingdom seekers.

2. Unseen Provision

God has resources in places you wouldn’t expect—business ideas, land deals, divine connections, or favor in hidden places.

Deuteronomy 8:18

“But thou shalt remember The LORD thy God: for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.”

An example of this is a property deal, a divine connection, a contract, or a strategy that comes by divine revelation—not by hustle.

3. Wealth Transfer

Isaiah 45 is also a prophecy of wealth transfer—God using Cyrus to release resources for His people.

Proverbs 13:22

“A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.”

An example of this is God using unbelievers, systems, and/or governments to release provision for Kingdom purposes.  You can see the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous man and woman.  If the Believer has the strength and courage to believe it.  Sadly, most don’t.  This is why God says in Isaiah that it will be a remnant of the Believers that He can trust.

Here are ten examples of hidden treasures in the context of Isaiah 45:2-3 and The Kingdom economy—these are resources, revelations, and/or opportunities that are concealed from the natural eye but revealed to those who walk in covenant and seek God:

1. Divine Business Strategies

Ideas for products, services, or investments that come by revelation, not market trends.

An example of a hidden treasure is Joseph’s strategy to store grain during years of plenty (Genesis 41) in Egypt that saved nations.

2. Favor with Gatekeepers

Access to influential people or decision-makers that opens doors.

An example of a hidden treasure is Esther’s favor with the king that preserved Israel (Esther 5).

3. Revelation Knowledge

Insight into Spiritual laws that govern increase, protection, and multiplication.

An example of a hidden treasure is understanding the power of decrees (Job 22:28) or the tithe (Hebrews 7:8) and offerings (Malachi 3:10-11) that unlocks supernatural provision.

4. Real Estate Opportunities

Land or property deals that are undervalued or overlooked but divinely revealed.

An example of this hidden treasure is God giving Israel cities they didn’t build and vineyards they didn’t plant (Deuteronomy 6:10–11).

5. Wealth Transfer Moments

Situations where resources shift from the hands of the unrighteous to the righteous.

A wonderful example of this hidden treasure is the Israelites leaving Egypt with the silver and gold and raiment (Exodus 12:35–36).

6. Inventions and Creative Solutions

Hidden ideas or technologies that solve problems and create wealth.

An example I really love reading about is George Washington Carver’s discoveries and over 300 patents/inventions from peanuts came through prayer and divine revelation.

7. Anointing for Multiplication

The supernatural ability to multiply resources.

Examples of hidden treasures are the widow’s oil (2 Kings 4) and the loaves and fishes (Matthew 14).

8. Hidden Connections and Divine Appointments

Relationships that unlock destiny, provision, or protection.

Ruth’s connection to Boaz was a hidden treasure that led to generational blessing (Ruth 2–4).

9. Access to Nations and Territories

Influence or open doors in regions for business, ministry, and/or expansion.

An example of this comes to us from Isaiah 45 where Cyrus was given access to nations to fulfill God’s purpose (Isaiah 45:1).

10. Timing and Positioning

Knowing when and where to act—God’s timing is a treasure.

God gave David hidden treasure when David encouraged himself in the joy of The Lord and God revealed to David when and how to pursue and recover all (1 Samuel 30:8) from the Philistines at Ziklag.

Our precious Father is very generous to us in everything – and I mean everything good and everything perfect.

Psalm 84:11

“For The LORD God is a sun and shield: The LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.”

Romans 8:32

“He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?”

II Corinthians 9:8

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:”

In closing, our Father is AMAZING as is our elder Brother, King, Lord, and Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  God is a God of abundance Spiritually and physically (health and prosperity).  But God can only take us as far as we will go.  God gives us the free will to decide if we will serve and seek Him, daily and with discipline, or if we will serve the world system and our emotions through ignorance, unbelief, and/or laziness.  I’m reminded of what Jesus had to say about His and our Father.

Matthew 7:9-11

9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him?

Stop listening to religion, to your emotions, to the world, or to your current circumstances.  Listen to God’s Word being spoken over and over by you in meditation until The Word comes alive in your heart.  Then God can do great things for you!

In Christ Jesus,

Larry
