Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
We’ll finish the lessons on Abraham and Sarah in the upcoming messages. The Holy Spirit wants to address the Body of Christ’s vision or image of itself today. The majority of Believers’ vision or image is either nonexistent or anemic. This is in complete contradiction with The Word of God.
Ecclesiastes 10:5-7
5 There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler:
6 Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place.
7 I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.
The Holy Spirit gave me Ecclesiastes 10:5-7 and said this is the state of much of the Body of Christ today. Have you heard the expression, “Up is down and down is up.” This is exactly what Ecclesiastes 10:5-7 is saying. Notice verse 7. The Holy Spirit said to me, “The Body of Christ has allowed itself to be subjugated to the god of this world when IT should be ruling this earth.” Remember what the ten spies that gave an evil report said in Numbers 13 and 14? “We are as grasshoppers in our eyes and in their eyes we’re as grasshoppers (paraphrased).” Much of the Body of Christ thinks this way today. This wrong thinking leads to wrong believing which leads to wrong confessions which leads to wrong living under the manifestation of the curse in a Believer’s life. This is not God’s will. He has given us the blueprint to prosperity and success in Joshua 1:8, the Spiritual Law of Confession.
Joshua 1:8
This book of the law [The Word of God] shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Joshua 1:8 is THE BLUEPRINT. There is “cause” and “effect.” There is “condition” and “promise.” It truly doesn’t get any simpler than this.
Notice what our Heavenly Father says about us as Believers in Proverbs 22:29.
Proverbs 22:29
Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
God has called Believers to the heritage, to the inheritance, of standing before kings and not fools. You don’t get an audience with a king unless you have power, prestige, influence, and affluence. Look at what God said to Abraham in Genesis 12:2: “…and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing.” Why do we ignore this? As Believers, Galatians 3:13-14 and 29 make it clear we are the seed of Abraham through The Seed of Abraham, Jesus Christ. God promised this to Abraham and to his seed. We, you, and I are Abraham’s seed. This is our promise. NO, IT IS NOT FOR HEAVEN. We don’t need this blessing in Heaven folks. We need it here and now in this earth. Please don’t allow your denominational doctrine to blind you to The Truth.
Genesis 12:1-3
1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
What is The Blessing and the blessings of The Blessing? Yes, the promises of God. There are over 7,000 promises from God to us, His children, in the Bible. How many have you accepted and received? Are you walking beside or riding the horse of Ecclesiastes 10:7?
II Corinthians 1:20
For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
God has called us to receive, to take, all the promises of God and manifest them in the earth. But we’re slack to possess God’s promises to us.
Joshua 18:3
And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you?
Israel had taken the Promised Land, but they hadn’t possessed it. We have taken Salvation, but we haven’t possessed it. Salvation is NOT just forgiveness of sins and eternal life with God. This is ONLY the tip of the iceberg. All the benefits of salvation begin the moment you accepted and made Jesus Christ the King and Lord of your heart. Eternity began the moment you were saved. Salvation authorizes you to take the benefits of God through Christ Jesus and make them yours. The benefits are found in Revelation 5:12.
Revelation 5:12
Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.
“But Larry, this is in the Book of Revelation and hasn’t happened yet.” Read the rest of the Bible please. This was done thousands of years ago. “But Larry, this is given to Jesus, not to us. You’re taking the verse out of context.” Really? Read the rest of the Bible please. We’re joint heirs with Jesus Christ (Romans 8:17). At salvation, we/you received EVERYTHING Jesus received. “But Larry, I haven’t seen, heard, or felt any of the things given to Jesus in Revelation 5:12 in my life.” That’s the problem, you’re trying to “live by sight and not by faith (II Corinthians 5:7).” I wish I had more time to dwell on this, but I can only provide the seed for you to plant in your heart, meditate, and receive the revelation if you’re willing to search it out.
Matthew 5:14
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
We are the light of the world because Christ shines from within us. We, as Believers, are to be looked up to in this world. We’re to ride on the horse as a king does. We must not allow our light to be hidden under a bushel. Instead, we must let it shine so men may see our good works and glorify our Father which is in Heaven.
How do we do this? We decree it or give an order, just like a king.
Job 22:28
Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
How do we know what to decree?
Proverbs 18:1
Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.
Proverbs 18:1 tells you the difference between Joshua and Caleb and the ten spies with an evil report in Numbers 13 and 14, the difference between Joseph and his family, the difference between David and his family, etc. “Desire.” You must DESIRE the sincere wisdom of God and seek after it as if seeking after hid treasure. God says He “rewards those that diligently seek after Him (Hebrews 11:6).” You SEPARATE yourself from the wisdom of the world and depend ONLY on God’s wisdom. And you SEEK and INTERMEDDLE with God’s wisdom.
Desire = Hebrew word “taavah” = “a desire, a wish, a longing, a delight.”
Having separated himself = Hebrew word “parad” = “divide, separate self.”
Seeketh = Hebrew word “baqash” = “seek, enquire, ask, procure.”
Intermeddleth = Hebrew word “gala” = “expose, lay bare.”
Wisdom = Hebrew word “tushiyyah” = “sound, efficient wisdom, abiding success.”
Provergs 22:17-21, 29 gives us GREAT WORDS of wisdom from our Heavenly Father, God. In fact, these verses are AWESOME wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and instruction from the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY – our Father, Abba. The “wise” in these verses are those Believers who put their complete trust and faith in the full counsel of God’s Word. They don’t cherry pick from The Word of God. They don’t just accept what comes from the pulpit without confirming it with the Holy Spirit through Scripture. The Holy Spirit will teach you if you desire and ask it to do so.
Proverbs 22:17-21, 29
17 Bow down thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply thine heart unto My knowledge.
18 For it is a pleasant thing if thou keep them within thee; they shall withal be fitted in thy lips.
19 That thy trust may be in the LORD, I have made known to thee this day, even to thee.
20 Have not I written to thee excellent things in counsels and knowledge,
21 That I might make thee know the certainty of the words of Truth; that thou mightest answer the words of Truth to them that send unto thee?
Proverbs 22:29
Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
Business = Hebrew word “melakah” = “occupation, work.”
During my study, God revealed to me that while the Hebrew word for business translates to “occupation” or “work,” God also meant it for “stewardship.” Everything we have belongs to God. It’s not ours. Our bodies, our families, our material possessions, our finances, our minds, our hearts, our eyes, our ears, our ministries, and our businesses belong to God. We’re stewards of these things for our Father.
If we rephrase the verse the way God revealed, it reads:
Proverbs 22:29
Observe the man diligent in his stewardship of all God has given to him. He shall stand before kings and he shall not stand before mean men.
Mean men = Hebrew word “chashok” = “obscure, low.”
Obscure = “dark, destitute of light, living in darkness, mean.”
Low = “to sink, to depress,
The Holy Spirit instructed me that “mean men” may come against us, but as Joshua 1:5 says below, they can’t stand before us. This includes Satan and his demonic forces. They’ll be moved aside or fall to their knees, but they won’t have the strength or ability to oppose us for any measure of time before our faith in The Word of God we’ve decreed moves them aside. Instead, we’ll be brought before people in power who’ll value our wisdom, our position, our power, our influence, our affluence, etc. They may not agree with us because we represent The Word of God, but they know not to mess with us, that dismissing us is at their own peril. As Ecclesiastes 10:7 says, we, the Believers, the Body of Christ, are walking while the world is sitting on OUR HORSE. We are the kings, not the world. We ride the horse, not the world.
Joshua 1:5
There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
We are stewards of God’s Word, His healing, His prosperity, His protection, His deliverance, our money, our time, our businesses, our jobs, our bodies, our eyes, our ears, our hearts, our minds, our vision, our focus, our possessions, our ministries, etc. It all belongs to the Almighty God, Father of Jesus Christ, and Father of all His sons and daughters in Christ.
In closing, we have to ask ourselves an honest question before our Father. Are we walking, as a servant, while the world rides our horse or are we riding the horse, as the king, with the world walking to our direction/decree? Don’t forget, we are made kings and priests upon our salvation (Revelation 1:6). This is YOUR BIRTHRIGHT in Christ Jesus.
Walk with the heart of The Lamb and the attitude of The Lion.
Much love in Christ,
Larry
