What Are You Seeing?

Good Afternoon Brothers in Christ,

I pray you are having a great Friday and have had a blessed week in the Lord.

One question God asks us, and we need to ask ourselves is “what are we seeing?”  I can imagine your faces right now asking, “what do you mean what am I seeing?”  I would do the same thing.  Larry’s off his rocker, again.

Let’s quickly dive into this.  What do you see when you arise each morning and go to bed each night?  Do you see a righteous, perfect, holy man by the redemptive work of Jesus Christ or do you see a condemned, ashamed, unworthy, sinner?  Do you see a financially challenged, struggling, anxious about your job or business man or do you see a wealthy and rich man, who increases more and more each day, who leaves an inheritance for his grandchildren, who is so blessed he is able to give money to the poor, widowed, orphaned, ministries, etc. at will and bountifully?  Do you see an injured, sick, diseased, infirmed, maimed, growing old man or do you see a mighty man who will live to be 120 years old and whose strength will be unabated and eye site not dimmed, unless the Rapture occurs first, healed by the stripes of Jesus Christ of every possible thing of the curse, constantly renewing strength, body parts, and your mind?  Do you see a business that struggles, that seems to go two steps forward and one step back, that has you waking up and going to bed with worry, anxiety, and fear, or do you see a business that thrives, that has the favor of Almighty God on it, that everything you do in it prospers, even your mistakes, that God brings the Rahab’s [part of God’s Joshua business strategy revelation] to you to give you special insight, favor, and business strategies for opportunities, that God provides provision for as a fountain, that God uses to bless you so you can be a financial blessing to others?  Do you see a mighty man of God who is afraid of no man, no politician, no evil law, no circumstance, no situation, a man who defies the world and the world system with the mighty and all powerful Word of the Living God, his Father or do you see a Gideon, hiding from the enemy, believing what the world has to say that he is from the lowliest of the tribes and the least of the families of the tribes, and the least in his family?

You get the picture.  When you read God’s Word, you are looking in a mirror.  God sees you as His Word declares.  Read and study His Word.  It’s amazing what God will show to you about yourself and all other things, even the hidden things of the world and of God.  What did the Angel of the LORD say to Gideon in Judges 6:12?  “The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valor.”  What did Gideon think of himself?  You can read it in Judges 6:15.  It certainly wasn’t a mighty man of valor!

We must understand that before we will believe and decree, we must be able to “see.”  We must, in our imagination, see ourselves as God sees us according to His Word.  If you speak to any Olympic Gold Medalist, they will tell you they imagined or visualized their success hundreds and thousands of time before it came to pass.  Where do you think they learned this?  Why, it is ingrained in man because man is made in the image and likeness of God.  God saw everything before He declared it, and it came to pass.  God didn’t just decree something and then poof, there it is, and He goes, “wow, that’s neat” as if He had no idea of what it was going to be or look like.  Nothing just “happens” with God.  It is the same with us, as Believers.  It’s not just going to happen.

If you want things, areas, or circumstances in your life to change, you must read God’s Word and then imagine the change in your mind’s eye.  You must see it.  This is what God is instructing me with my business.  I’m limiting what He wants to do in the business because of what I can see.  I need to see hundreds of millions instead of tens of millions.  I need to see the company logo on the side of large multi-story office buildings.   I need to see all of the poor, widowed, orphaned, and ministries that receive millions in offerings from the business.  I need to see Godly leaders in the business and people being blessed in the business.  Does God have the power the change your business or your life and make it incredible?  Yes.  Does He have the authority?  No.  God can only, legally, do what we allow Him to do through us.

Proverbs 4:23

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

In closing, God tells us to guard our hearts, constantly and always.  Be careful what we allow into it.  For what is in it will manifest itself in our everyday lives.  If we sees ourselves other than God sees us, you will reap what you see.  If you see yourself as God sees you, you will reap what you see.  God is a gentleman.  He doesn’t twist our arms.  He gave us free will.  I encourage and implore you to see yourself as God sees you, decree it daily in your life, and see it in your imagination.

I pray the blessing of the dew of Heaven and the fatness of the earth upon all of you in Christ’s name.  Amen.

Larry
