Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
We just watched this Presidential Administration host a Pride Day on the lawn of the White House with the Pride Flag flown between two American flags. We also saw and heard the President defend the lifestyle, salute them as brave, allow debauchery with the exposing of various body parts, and denigrate the nation, the Presidency, and the White House with other various speeches, demonstrations, and evil antics. This email is not to attack the President, his evil administration, and the hearts and minds of those that put him there. This has been prophesied. This email is to encourage Believers to laugh at these days and the foolishness of the wicked. Not laugh in agreement with the mockery by the wicked but laugh in agreement with God’s Word and laugh with God.
Psalm 37:12-15
12 The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.
13The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.
14The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.
15Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
The Lord makes clear the wicked will be killed by their own sword, their words, and their bows, or ways, shall be broken or destroyed. We see what will absolutely happen to the wicked, now let’s see what happens to the righteous.
Psalm 37:18-19
18 The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
Who are the “upright” in Psalm 37:18? The Hebrew word for “upright” is “tamim.” It means, “complete, whole, entire, sound, healthful, unimpaired.” Now, there is a very important distinction to be made here. Those who believe God’s Word, speak, and receive it are the “upright.” The LORD knows their days because The LORD knows His Word. The “upright” are able to physically, mentally, and spiritually manifest God’s Word, His promises, in this earth. This has nothing to do with being righteous. We are the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ (II Corinthians 5:21). When we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we became righteous through what Jesus did. There is nothing we can do ourselves to be righteous. But there are things we can do to manifest the fruit of righteousness, which is the upright man of Psalms 37:18. We decree God’s Word in faith and expect to receive what we’ve decreed.
Psalm 37:18 states “their inheritance shall be forever.” What is our inheritance? Whatever Jesus received. You can find it in Revelation 5:12: power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing. When did you receive your inheritance? When you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Is it available to you now in this earth? Absolutely! Otherwise, God would be a liar. Look at I John 4:17. It tells us “because as Jesus is, so are we in this world.” We have this now if we can transform our mind by renewing it with The Word of God so we can prove what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2).
Psalm 37:19 tells us the upright shall not be ashamed in the evil time. What does it mean that we shall not be ashamed? The Hebrew word for “ashamed” is “bus.” It means “to put to shame, be ashamed, be disconcerted, be disappointed, to delay.” God’s Word in Psalm 37:19 states we SHALL NOT be put to shame, be ashamed, be disconcerted, be disappointed, or have things delayed that shame us. It states we shall not be ashamed in the evil time. Today is an evil time. However, we, as Believers, should never have any shame, be distraught or disconcerted, be disappointed, or have anything delayed in God’s Word because of this evil time. Again, why? Because the upright, as we learned earlier in this message, is the Believer who decrees God’s Word in faith and has an expectation to receive it.
Psalm 37:19 also tells us the upright SHALL BE satisfied in the days of famine. Famine represents a terrible lack of needs and wants. It can be a physical drought that destroys crops, food, etc. It can also be an economic drought that destroys jobs, income, investments, etc. What we can’t have is a spiritual drought. The upright understands how to take The Word of God, decree it in faith, and receive the expectation. It’s terribly important we understand The Word of God is not constrained or affected by anything in the natural realm other than our words and our lack of faith. We can see a perfect example of this in Genesis 26 when Isaac followed The Word of God by remaining and planting a crop in an area that had been experiencing a severe drought for several years. As I’ve written before, can you imagine the Philistines watching Isaac plant a crop in dry, dusty ground with no water anywhere to water the crop? They had to think he had lost his mind. However, what was the end result of Isaac believing, speaking, acting upon, and receiving The Word of God? A one-hundredfold return. We have to act in faith just as Isaac did. When this happens, The God of the impossible can act on our faith and decreed word and manifest the impossible for us.
As mentioned last week, God has been impressing upon me this statement of Truth: “My God is The God of the impossible and His mercy endures forever.” We are the true royalty of this earth, God’s sons and daughters. As such, we are gifted with the same anointing as Jesus. Remember the anointing is God bestowing upon man the ability to do in the flesh that which only God can do. If God’s Word says it, it is not impossible. His Word decreed in faith has the power the bring the declaration to pass.
Much love in Christ,
Larry
