Why Can’t He Be Forgiven

Good Afternoon Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

If God is willing to forgive all of mankind for sin, this includes Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Lenin, Pol Pot, etc., can He also forgive Satan?  This is a question asked of me, so I thought I’d share the answer with all.  No, God cannot forgive Satan.

God created Lucifer as an anointed Cherub.  Lucifer’s name means, “a shining one, star of the morning, or morning star.”  God states when Lucifer was created, he was perfect in all his ways.  God cannot create evil or something bad or something imperfect.  This kills homosexual or gender identity arguments as “having been created this way.”  God creates NOTHING evil, imperfect, or bad.  You choose to be evil, imperfect, or bad.

Ezekiel 28:14-15

14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

Verse 15 gives the reason why God cannot forgive Satan, even if Satan desired forgiveness.  God can forgive man because man was tempted.  Satan was never tempted.  He is the creator of iniquity as Verse 15 tells us.

When Lucifer was cast out of Heaven, his name changed to Satan which means “adversary,” “opponent,” or “accuser.”  Satan is now the adversary of God and God’s Word, Jesus Christ.  This means he is our adversary.

Ezekiel 28:16-19

16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

Satan’s sentence is pronounced by God in Ezekiel 28-16-19.  Satan and all his demonic spirits and angels will be destroyed by Jesus Christ when He steps forward and speaks the WORD!  So, never feel sorry for Satan or his future of hell fire, torment, torture, suffering, etc. for every second of eternity.  He is well deserving of it.  But we do need to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all our family, neighbors, friends, and acquaintances.  Otherwise, they, too, will share the fate of Satan.  It is not God’s will for any man or woman to spend eternity sentenced to damnation.  Let’s share the Word and help to bring God’s will on earth as it is in Heaven.

Blessings,

Larry
