Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
I was listening to a sermon by the late Kenneth E. Hagin, one which I’ve listened to many times. However, like always, the Holy Spirit quickened another nugget of revelation from the message. The nugget from the Holy Spirit is we, as Believers, have absolute authority and power over everything on and in this earth. Now, you may say, “Larry, I’ve heard you say something similar already,” or “I’ve read where you’ve written this previously.” You’re right. But the revelation was a deeper understanding of the authority and power God has given us – through HIS WORDS.
The Holy Spirit is teaching me there is NOTHING on this earth I cannot control with the Word of God spoken in faith – NOTHING. Whether circumstances, problems, diseases, viruses, infirmities, demons, governments, finances, healing, or the like. Whatever Jesus did, we are able to do. When I state this many of your minds will immediately go to all the reasons why this can’t be done based on your experiences, your opinion, your religious doctrine or dogma, your culture, your ethnicity, the wisdom of the world, etc. And this why it will never work for you. Few, very few, will immediately go to what God has to say about His children and decree these words over your family and you – for whatever is required – and believe what you’ve decreed. Not just believe – BUT EXPECT!
I refuse to catch COVID in the name of Jesus Christ. I’ve had every chance to catch COVID. I’ve hugged and sat right next to people with COVID or that came down with it the next day. However, when it first came out and became a news item, I decreed then with absolute conviction I cannot catch COVID in the name of Jesus Christ. I was, and still am, as sure of not being able to catch COVID as I am of my salvation. I know that I know that I know. We’re told in Colossians 2:6 to use the same faith we used to accept Jesus Christ for all circumstances in our lives. It doesn’t take a special faith.
Colossians 2:6
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him:
One thing the Holy Spirit said is many Believers don’t know, believe, and/or exercise Matthew 18:18.
Matthew 18:18
Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
The Holy Spirit teaches that God cannot move for you until YOU initiate action on this earth. Look at Matthew 18:18. Notice the order. One must bind or loose on earth before it can be bound or loosed in Heaven. How do you bind or loose something? By decreeing (using your voice to give an order) on earth – in FAITH (believing it is done and will happen – period).
Also notice Matthew 18:18 says “whatsoever” you bind or loose on earth. What does “whatsoever” apply to on earth? Exactly. Anything or “whatsoever.” What circumstance, problem, or challenge are you facing? Isn’t it a “whatsoever?” Then get busy using God’s Word to bind or loose it!! Don’t let it bind you.
John 14:13
And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Don’t you know your Father God WANTS YOU TO BE SUCCESSFUL? Of course He does. God is all for you as His son or daughter. There is nothing that belongs to Him that you can’t have. You don’t believe me. Well, let’s see what Jesus had to say – and remember, Jesus said He never said or did anything He didn’t hear His Father say or do.
John 16:13-15
13 Howbeit when He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all Truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.
14 He shall glorify Me: for He shall receive of Mine, and shall shew it unto you.
15 All things that the Father hath are Mine: therefore said I, that He shall take of Mine, and shall shew it unto you.
Notice in John 16:14-15 Jesus said the Holy Spirit will show you everything that belongs to Him. And Jesus went on to say everything that belongs to the Father is His. Why is the Holy Spirit showing you these things? Because they belong to you and to me, praise God!! We’re children of the Most High, heirs of the Most High, and joint-heirs with the King of kings and Lord of lords, Jesus Christ. Everything belonging to Jesus belongs to you and me! This should make you so excited. When do you have access to all that belongs to Jesus? Right now, in this world. Not when you get to Heaven and don’t need it any longer (I think back to all the times I was bamboozled from the pulpit with errant doctrine. I don’t blame the pulpit, I have to blame myself for not being a student of the Word. Had I been, I would never have fallen for Satan’s perversion of God’s Word).
I John 4:17
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He [Jesus Christ] is, so are we in this world.
Praise God, as Jesus is right now, so are you and me in this world! We NEED IT NOW, not when we get to Heaven. Quit listening to the wrong doctrine being taught in churches and denominations. Satan is using this to rob God’s children of their rightful inheritance – which starts immediately upon salvation.
The power of Matthew 18:18, John 14:13, Mark 11:23-24, Matthew 7:7-8, and Job 22:28 are immense. We can use these verses, and others, to overcome EVERY SINGLE situation in which we are opposed by Satan and his minions. Use God’s Word – His promises – and simply declare the verses that apply to your situation as the Truth and stand on it. Don’t waver. Stand on it no matter how long it may take. The moment you quit standing, you go from faith to fear. We must remain in faith to see it through to manifestation in this earth. But, if God promised it to you from His Word, IT WILL HAPPEN!!
Mark 11:23-24
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Matthew 7:7-8
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Job 22:28
Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
Meditate these verses asking the Holy Spirit to give you revelation for each. I promise if you’ll meditate them and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you, to show you the hidden mysteries of the verses, it will be revealed to you. He does it for me, and God is no respecter of persons – He’ll do it for you, too.
You are more than a conqueror in Christ, so act like it. “More than a conqueror” means you get to enjoy the spoils of Jesus’ battle with death without having to fight. Just stand and rest in His faith.
